  Triggering Design Definitions to Create Billing And Expense

1.Scope
1.1This applies to ATLAS where Design Definition are required to automatically create a Billing And Expense Line.
2.Adding New Billing Definitions
2.1Navigate to Switchboard / [Quick Filters] Select the relevant Project Name from the Pink Filter Field Click on the Billing Definitions Tab Ensure the Billing Definition does not exist, scroll to the Bottom and Add the New Definition. Follow any existing Project Naming Conventions and concatenations as required. Ensure the Income and Expense Values are completed where known. If these values are 0, No Billing or Expense will be generated.
3.Adding New Design (Product) Definitions
3.1Navigate to Switchboard / [Reports] / Data Admin / Design Definition List (407) Ensure the Design Definition does not exist, scroll to the Bottom and Add the New Definition. Follow any existing Naming Conventions and concatenations as required. To enable ATLAS to create Billing and Expense when the Operation Design entry is created, ensure the relevant Billing Definition is selected from the Drop-down List Multiple Design Definitions can be linked to a Single Billing Definition
4.Creating Design Work (Operations)
4.1Open the Main Operations form (This can be completed by Double Clicking on the OPID for a tracker) Click on the Design Tab Select the Design / Work type from the Drop Down List This will create the Billing and Expense where Linked above
